Today I am deciding to enter a http://dailypost.wordpress.com/2013/08/09/one-shot-two-ways/ Anyway you should check it out, its 2 different photos from different perspectives taken from the same place. I chose these below. which are two lock photos taken from the same place on a bridge in Paris called the Art Bridge,Today I went out with my friend and a photographer to try to learn some new things. On our way driving up the mountain to our destination she was talking about how she suffers from short term memory loss and she can’t remember things from her childhood if there isn’t a picture of it. So she says she tries to capture every moment and always have te camera on autozoom because she’g rather have it and remember then have it blurred and forgotten. She says when she drives she always has her camera on and ready because she never wants to miss anything that could’ve been something.
Another thing she talked about which I thought was super interesting is that she has a best friend who travels the world with one white dress and takes pictures of different women on the dress. Then in the end she puts them all together/ Just an interesting though to ponder;
I love this post. Read it if you are interested in photography.
FUN FUN! I just went on a 5 day long rafting trip. I had so much fun. It seemed that by the end of the week whatever cliques existed in our group they had left. On the bus ride back homeI was talking to people that I don’t think I have ever had a full conversation with. It was amazing and so much fun. One day we even rafted to 26 miles. I think that once you take a hard look at yourself and then evaluate and see what you do you find out more things that you thought you knew. Like my teacher said, “when you get put in uncomfortable situations, the real you comes out.”
enjoy this picture of me!
Wow! It has been a while since I blogged and I hate the feeling of knowing this is just standing here.
I have a friend that comes up to me and said that everyday she checks my blog to read and see if I have posted anything. She says it always comes up with the photo of my third piercing. This blog is completely dedicated to her and I hope that she reads it and knows.
The Boston marathon bombing is terrible. I feel a need to feel bad for the 19 year old boy, but then I have to think that he harmed so many people and changed there lives forever. I feel bad that his older brother “left” him to fend and fight for the both of them all alone and I believe that he is more book smart than street smart. I read a book that talked about how people who lost limbs or got paralyzed, how there life changed so much.
They can’t even go to the bathroom by themselves and they live half a life that they could be living. They always have to adjust for the rest of their lives.
Today was officially the most wonderful day of my life!…you know so far. My friend and I were going down to get our ears pierced together tomorrow for a second peircing.
Her mom decided to go take her today so my mom said for us to just pierce it our selves.
As I iced my ear I talked to my mom of how I wish I was a bad kid so that when I was a parent I could tell all my kids all the awesome stories and make them always laugh and what not.
Any way it took me whole hour to get my ear what I thought was numb. Then I went to the bathroom mirror took out the needle that I had been sterilizing and I just stuck it right through my skin two times! It didn’t hurt cause my ear was completely numb. My mom came over to put the earring in and I was laughing saying I did it and I said, “aw thats good stuff.” Then I leaned over and fainted, my mom just said I fell over. She started yelling for help and my step-dad came and soon enough I woke up. All I remember of it, is feeling really dizzy and then just blacking out, all I heard was these voices. It was truly terrible and super scary.
After I was awake, and we had the new second earring in, I walked outside the bathroom and walked to my room.
I thought that now I finally have a story to tell my kids when I am a parent! 🙂
have a goodnight -smileatthiserror
Today for the first time ever I did a photo shoot with my mom and it was really awesome. 🙂
It was the first time that I ever did a photo shoot with my mom and we are planning on doing another one some time soon because I got a bunch of good photos and a bunch of good edits. This one I tripled her up and black and white-ed it.
Sometimes I feel like I wake up and do the same thing everyday… wake up…go to school…go to hockey…go to bed. I feel like I need to do something different or change it up or something. Also Our teachers keep on getting upset with these kids and keeps ruing the whole class period!
ugh!!! I’m so tired, I need to go to bed!!!
😛 night 🙂 -smileatthiserror
this is a picture of me eating gluten-free cake all by myself. You see, I am gluten free and my siblings always get donuts or something special so my mom decided to make me a cake this time. I have been working so hard in school, and it has not been fun!
I made some really awesome edits and I will make sure that i will post them.
All the days this week we thought it might be a snow day and none of them ended up being snow day and so far it wis SOOO annoying. When you wake up and see a bunch of powder you could be skiing and then you go to school, it just bothers you SO much. Tomorrow I am hoping it will be a snow day but I dont think it is going to be cause they hate having snow days on Friday because it sets back every thing for the teachers.
UGH! I am gonna go to bed, SO TIRED!!!!
Super busy with homework right now, but I found this awesome poem while I was in class and I happen to LOVE it. Take a look and read it 😛 I hope you like it! Gonna go do history homework!

The first time I walked
With a girl, I was twelve,
Cold, and weighted down
With two oranges in my jacket.
December. Frost cracking
Beneath my steps, my breath
Before me, then gone,
As I walked toward
Her house, the one whose
Porch light burned yellow
Night and day, in any weather.
A dog barked at me, until
She came out pulling
At her gloves, face bright
With rouge. I smiled,
Touched her shoulder, and led
Her down the street, across
A used car lot and a line
Of newly planted trees,
Until we were breathing
Before a drugstore. We
Entered, the tiny bell
Bringing a saleslady
Down a narrow aisle of goods.
I turned to the candies
Tiered like bleachers,
And asked what she wanted –
Light in her eyes, a smile
Starting at the corners
Of her mouth. I fingered
A nickle in my pocket,
And when she lifted a chocolate
That cost a dime,
I didn’t say anything.
I took the nickle from
My pocket, then an orange,
And set them quietly on
The counter. When I looked up,
The lady’s eyes met mine,
And held them, knowing
Very well what it was all
A few cars hissing past,
Fog hanging like old
Coats between the trees.
I took my girl’s hand
In mine for two blocks,
Then released it to let
Her unwrap the chocolate.
I peeled my orange
That was so bright against
The gray of December
That, from some distance,
Someone might have thought
I was making a fire in my hands.
I have been in Denver all weekend cause my school has a 4 day weekend since the 1st semester is ending and for MLK day! We had hockey games here, so it was a reason to come up! I used a lot of my saved up money to go buy clothes and stuff, but it was totally worth it and so much fun! I wil later post all the pictures I got of the city life. I know that this i s a super small city compared to New York or Chicago but its a huge city compared to where I live in a small town. I will post some later:)
This photo me and my sister were taking turns taking pictures of each other cause she wants to learn more about photography and taking pictures. I was teaching her little tips and stuff and she captured this awesome photo of me, so I’m posting. I know I havent posted for a while but now that school wont be so crazy I will have WAY more time. I will probably get on my schedule of at least one pos very other day.
Sorry that I haven’t posted in a while but it’s the end of the second quarter so we have a bunch of tests and so have been studying, also we had hockey this entire weekend so I know that my blog feed has been really boring this past month, but I promise I will get back to my regular daily posting life. Anyway this is a scanography photo that I took the other day. Scanography is awesome cause it uses no ink and it can take photos of yourself, which is awesome.
